I have very dry skin and I use a lot of different lotions to help me with this problem. One of the lotions I like to use is St. Ives® Extra Relief Collagen Elastin. This lotion is micro-powered moisture with extra strength formula tested in a Swiss Clinic to relieve and condition over dry skin. And let me tell you it really does work. At least for me it does.
The lotion is white in color and goes on smoothly and evenly. There is no greasy feeling left behind and leaves my skin feeling really soft. I will sometimes heat the lotion up in my potpourri pot and rub the warm lotion on my legs and my husband will rub the warm lotion on my back and hips. Most of the lotions I use I will heat up. The warmth of the lotion really soothes my arthritic joints. I think that I have shared this with you all before.
The size that I buy is a 10 fl oz (296 ml.) in a white container with a blue cap. The cap is a flip top that opens easily and allows the lotion to come out without blobs or clumps. The smell is very pleasant, like flowers. Also on the front of the bottle you will find in raised lettering “Swiss Formula” which is on the left hand side of the bottle. This same lettering is on the back as well. The original picture of the “Geneve Laboratories Suisse” is on the front as well. I have found this picture on most St. Ives products. It is the thing I look for when looking for their products.
The cost of this size of bottle was 2.46 at my local Wal-Mart. (US dollars.) The price will vary from store to store. St.
