Metal at its' loudest !! . Review on St. Anger - Metallica

Well .. we loved load , reload , master of puppets ... and all of those previous albums ... before I purchased the cd of st. annger , I had 2 contrasting thoughts in my mind .. one the large no of reviews on the internet that declared the metallica was finished and done with and st. anger sucked !! and on the other hand , I relly enjoyed st. anger 1st time I heard on channel v ...but I went with my own instinct and metallica's past reputation .. and frankly I am not in the least dissapointed ... the sound of st. anger on the whole is loud and different and it is best heard at mid volumes ... crank up and it could be harmful for both ur ears and the speakers will also from distortion ... coming back to the music .. the track I njoyed the most was the title track .. though dirty window , frantic and all within my hands r also cool ... it takes a few rounds of casual listening to beginning to like the riifs ... the point is that just becoz some people cant handle the intensity of this album .. it dont give them any right to spread negative publicity about the band ... ulrich 's work is awe inspiring and not '' just raw '' ... hetfeild sings from the soul and a few songs reminds u about his rehab days ... kirk 's riffs on the guitar .. are a pleassin depart from the usual linkin park , cold play variety .. distinctivity is the keyword .. only dissapointment was the new bassist that replaced burton ... he doesnt get much to do .. otherwise the cd is a good buy .. metallica do come back hard ( literally ) with st. anger ( the title track 'frantic' is ample proof .... it continues with all the other tracks ..) so hail metallica .... and dare to be different !?! cheers !!
