This is in continuation to my last writeup on the racism that has amalgamated in to Zimbabwean cricket. The result of which is sheer disaster as Zimbabwe was folded today for 35, the lowest ever team total in ODI history. Today, in the 3rd ODI between Zim and SL in Zimbabwe, the Zimbabwean team was bruised, battered and crushed in to a pulp.
Srilanka though not being a world beater by any means is a team which surprisingly get Teams out on very low scores especially in ODIs.
I should use this space to congratulate the Srilankan team but quite frankly the only thing the SL team is doing now is making short work of a building team which has been further weakened by racism and jingoism.
Hope some sense prevails over the sickened Zimbabwean Cricket Union and they bring back the real players (the streaks, the ervines, the blignauts) who are out of the team for no fault of theirs.
The Zimbabwean cricket union has many supporters and boot lickers of the Mugabe regime because of which we cricket fans have been deprived to see the grit and flair of players, such as, Andy Flower, Alistair Campbell and Johnson. dont tell us we wont see the ever so unassuming streak, talented ervine and Blignaut and the gritty Carlise. These players have contibuted inspite of low pays and constant nagging of the racists in the ZCU board.
