I went Splash Water Park, Delhi last weekend 20 June 2009. I decided for that particular park just because their
1. Timings are good they start 10:00 AM in the morning.
2. Rate of Ticket is Cheap, as compare to other Delhi / NCR water Parks.
3. Moreover it’s not far from West Delhi.
I went there with my wife and 5 yrs old son. My purpose was to beat the heat and let my son enjoy his summer vacation. I would like to write my experience at Splash Water Park, Main G T Karnal Road, Near Palla Moad Alipur, Delhi.
We started with amusement park of Splash. They have few Rides, but still enough for small kids.
The rides are NOT at all safe as they neglecting all safety measures.No Seat belts even in the rides where seat belts are must, frequent power failure. Attendant / ride operators are not aware of any safety measures. Lack of maintenance is clearly visible on all the rides. Rides are just for small kids. If you have child of 10 years or above he / she will not enjoy any of the ride because they are too slow.
After dry rides we went to Water Park.
The water of all pools were dirty, green in color and lots of foreign particles werethere likedead flies, there was a person who was responsible for cleaning, but he was least interested for the work he is paying for.
The crowd was very bad, village guys and girls, bunches of loafer are about 95 percent of total crowd. We were happy that they are not creating troubles for others. Varietyof water rides were nice,
They have Rain dance, Aqua dance, lazy river, huge sliding rides, waves pools(artificial sea)
but quality of water was same in almost all the pools very poorit seems full of infections and germs.
few of pools, like Waves pool was very slippery, I saw a man slipped by putting his first step in the pool(waves pool) and got injured elbow, and head. One or two person I saw more who got injured, but the have arrangement of First AID. Well children were enjoying a lot in water, even my son enjoyed well.
After enjoying in pool we went to Food Plaza, built in side the pool area. The food was not costly, but at the same time quality, quality and taste were poor.
Now come to the most important area, The Gents Washrooms, they were stinking, not maintained at all, door were broken, bolts were missing.
Overall Splash Water Park Delhi is good if you do not consider hygienebefore entering in to pool or eating food and you do not consider safetybefore taking yourself and your family on rides.
I suggest you all who are planning to take their families to have fun in Water Park. Go to the Water Park that is safe and secure no matter how much they charging.
I have been to Fun and Food lots of times and I found Fun n Food is much better than Splash. This particular time I was in mood for a change so I opted Splash. I will give Splash Water Park 6 out of 10.
