Flight(s) cancelled arbitrarily. Review on SpiceJet

Flight cancellations happen everywhere, causes inconvenience but have to let go.But what are the chances that you pre-book flight thrice during a stretch of an year and it gets CANCELLED every single time.

This happened with me. I visit Chennai often and travel on various airlines including spice jet. So last year(2013) in November, then again in March 2014 and recently on July 4, I chose to fly Spicejet. All 3 times the return flight from Chennai to Hyd was cancelled due to what they say "operational reasons". Each time the flight was an afternoon flight. They give a number to call in order to re-book on some other flight or get a refund. Its quiet funny when you call the automated message glorifies their commitment to punctuality. I guess the punctuality claim is  valid if and only when the flight does takes off.

I guess Spicejet is facing heat due to the competition and is unable to sustain. Seems like following the path of another red color airline(Kingfisher!). As for me once bitten, twice shy, so thanks spicejet for proving to me that I am idiot for repeating my mistake the third time and taking a chance to fly with you.
