I had my worst travelling experience with my SpiceJet flight from Del-Hyd (SG - 221; 13 July 2013). The lady at the check-in counter was extremely rude and unhelpful.
Rather, she created more inconvenience for me by making me transfer my stuff from check-in baggage to hand luggage! wondering what difference it would have made if overall I was under the weight limit. so useless.
On the other hand, I flew indigo from hyd-delhi on an Indigo flight and had such an amazing experience as compared to Spicejet! no such nonsense and was asked my seat preference with a smile, where as on Spicejet I was just handed over the boarding pass with asking if I had any seat preference!
I am sure NEVER to fly Spicejet again when I am not getting good customer service nor any price advantage!
