I had booked a ticket through Spice Jet selling Agents Goibibo as per PNR D994JD on 24/11/2014. The intimation of cancellation of flight was informed just 24 hours before the schedule departure of the flight by Spice jet to my mobile number by SMS. Sadly the Agent Goibibo never bothered to intimate the cancellation of the flight and on the contrary I received a SMS on my mobile asking me how was the experience of the flight. I tried several times to contact the Airlines 24 x 7 customers service number but they never picked up the phone and did not answer .
I then wrote email giving all details of the ticket and cancelled my ticket. I got the confirmation accepting the cancellation during January 2015 intimating the refund is under process and the payment will be made in 3-5 working days. Thereafter, I have been sending regular reminders for the refund but both Goibibo and Spice jet has not even bothered to acknowledge the mails.
I have several reminders but still their 3-5 days have not come although now it is 6 months . When I call their customer care number they don't reply and disconnect the line. I have already made my complaint and claim to be filed in the Consumer court for refund and compensation for the loss and harassment.
In view of my very bad experience with Goibibo and Spice jet I am alerting all the public in general never ever book your ticket through Goibibo or Spice jet. They may lure the people for low fare ticket but on the contrary the flights will never take off and finally you shall have to cancel the ticket and wait for years to get the refund of cancelled ticket.
I am still going to publish this most inefficient service of Goibibo in all the print media and expose the company how it is cheating the public and operating the business with the public money.
