Guys my only reason to buy this phone was to get a dual sim phone with long battery life, because the previous dual sim phones I used had terrible battery life. So after seeing few ads in TV and newspapers I decided to buy this phone. I was not looking for any other feature in the phone except the battery life. So everything else comes as a surprise package. Hence lets go one by one on the main highlight of M 5151.
Battery Life: M 5151 comes with a big battery and is the USP of this phone, and I must say it completely justifies its claim. I have used this phone for 6 days after first full charging and I was surprised to see the battery life it has. Even after using music and GPRS features its battery runs 4 day in a single charging. Wow thats what I was looking for. So full marks for the battery.
Multimedia Features: Music Player:It has a decent music player with a reasonable sound quality, but its better with loudspeaker in comparison when played on earphones. Earphone quality is bad in this case.
FM player:FM player comes with a recording function so one can record favorite songs playing on radio. The quality is good.
Camera: M 5151 has a digital camera and the quality is bad. It has the feature of video recording also but one should not expect much here also. Also you can not expect everything in a Rs. 2500 phone.
GPRS / Internet: M 5151 comes with a basic GPRS function and works fine when you open wap sites. But this phone can not be used as modem, also there is no usb cable provided with the phone. But one can use the bluetooth to connect to computer.
Special Feature: Spice M 5151 has a very interesting preloaded feature menu where one can access ibibo, mguru, reauters, spice fun zone etc. All the functions work fine and interesting. The most fascinating feature is E2S where one can get emails through SMS and can read and reply also. How interesting.
Other Features: *The phone also has all the usual feature like mobile tracker, 1000 phone book, a torch, one touch FM etc.
Overall I am very happy with the phone and never expected to get so many features in a phone which I primarily bought for its battery. I think one can not expect more in Rs. 2500, according to me its best value for money phone available in the market.
