Well, ##Speedtest.net## is a hugely famous website. As other websites, it shows advertisements so as to keep website running for free otherwise it would've been difficult for them to maintain such a website. Website surely tells us accurate speed and ping, but the real problem is that if, for example, a guy has 4g 1gb internet and his speed is above 20mbps so the data usage by Speedtest increases like 40-60mbs will be used up to test it. Some users even reported using up 100mb in only speedtesting. Ads are ok as long as they are positioned well. I have clicked on ads many times -_- and that irritates me alot.
I like its beta version much more because ads are not shown.
