First of all if you don't have time to read my mail below, see the ratings I've provided. This is THE WORST internet provider I have ever seen so far in Pune and Pimple Saudagar. I too am a victim of ever good looking and lucrative deals these Spectranet folks offer. But let me tell you, those are simply worthless and issues begin once you opt for it. They convinced me for 3 months pack and promised full connectivity but that never happened.
1)Speed fluctuates too often - varies 0.2 to 0.5 MBPS against the promised 12-16 MBPS.
2)Outages are too much often - not for few hours but whole days. When customer care is approached either they won't pick up the call or would simply say there's an outage and no upper time limit is defined. Now imagine how much someone has to suffer if his whole work depends on availability of the internet, especially those who work from home.
3)They would try harder and harder to convince not to apply for permanent disconnection in case you opt for it. I have seen it to the extent that even after requesting them for permanent disconnection long back, they WILL NOT do it, and still generate a bill. And expect you to clear the same.
4)Then, at last if you happen to drop an email to them to close the connection at the earliest as requested, provide them a request number too, they will NOT reply what is expected. Rather they'll reply asking to check internet speed / issues again and get back to us in case of further queries / concerns - how unprofessional!!.
5)They are very unprofessional in the sense that whenever a request for permanent disconnection is logged and a subsequent complaint regarding internet not working is logged, they'd completely ignore whats mentioned in previous request or rather delete it. They'll keep asking you if internet is working fine.
6)For quite a long no-one is approaching me to give back their modem/device, and bill too is generated.
