I have a pair of spectacles with Zeiss lenses and wanted to try Crizal. But at the Titan Eye+ store, I saw that the proprietary lens offered by Titan Eye+ was cheaper, so decided to go for it. I regret the choice because the lens has the following poor quality features:
While viewing objects sideways, the object appears to have a red tinge at its borders. Very annoying.
Only objects at a small angle in front of you appear clear. Looking at objects toward the outward angles of the lens gives a blurry image. On the other hand, the Zeiss lens I have gives uniform vision at all angles.
These are the only problems I faced in a week of use. Regret having bought the lens. It's always worth going for a brand that's more focused on giving you a good product (like Zeiss or Crizal). I've given full rating for the durability and ease of use of the lens, because I haven't used it for long enough to comment.
Although this review is only for Titan Eye+ lens, it may be true for other proprietary lenses too, so please take care while buying. Buy from a reputed brand even if it costs you a bit more. Visual acuity is very important. Don't compromise it with poor quality lenses that'll make your eye strain harder.
