There was only a cut on finger of my son . They checked whether we have an insurance , made us take an x ray and suggested that we get he admitted for micro surgery of the finger and were immediately offering an estimate of Rs 60 K + !
We took a quick decision and asked them only to dress up the wound and came out lighter by several thousand of Rupees .
Best part is that the wound healed in a week . Couldn't the doctors have realised this what we untrained people could . Also , X ray was obviously unnecessary .
