Excellent place to stay and spend time. It is a few kilo meters away from Manali, which means that you have to commute to reach the main market place. This is fine as you are away from the noise and pollution. But at times you need to go to the market. This is an improvement area. Span needs to provide drop facility to market.
The river view is excellent. The cottages are very comfortable. Book the river view cottage as that is the best way to spend time. The gym definitely needs improvement. No motorized tread mill. Although I did not miss it as walking itself was fun
The area is wonderful. I used to have all meals, and I can tell you the food is great. We also enjoyed the breakfast. The rooms are well equipped. A bit expensive though. Plan in advance as availability is an issue in summer months.
Good for family outings and also for romantic couples. There was no internet so you are really away from office. It has, golf putting tennis, table tennis.
