Hello friends, I would like to share my personal experience on South Indian Bank. I have a NRI Account in SIB since 6 months. I was regularly transfering my salary to that account. Last month I have an incidence with them that I am going to share with you. I was transferring cash by using internet banking. But last month I had some problem with internet banking and went directly to my Saudi Bank counter and transfered the amount. Normally the amount shall hit on my account maximum next day. In this case after 2 days I couldnt get the money. Then I called by bank here. They said to contact SIB in India. I called them and given all details and told me to call after 2 hours. Before I calling them, the guy called me from India and told me to send the slip which is available with me by whatsapp ( he given me his whatsapp number) . After checking he confirmed that their was an error in the IFSC code which entered by the saudi bank. So from the head office they rejected the incoming payment. He said the cash will return to my account.
After two days I got my money back in KSA bank account. But the interesting thing is that one exrcutive from SIB called me to check wheather the payment is recieved or not. I became too satisfied with their service. And very thankful for the help.
