This one is interesting for someone and boring for someone. I will try my best, in this review, to convince you whether you should watch this or not.
As we all know, the story is about a guy fall in love with his brother's fiancé. So what next? “Ab pyar kiya to darna kya? Pyar kiya koi chori nahi ki.” So he reveals this thing to his brother and after initial hesitation his big brother agrees and accept this fact. A very predictable story.
Generally, in this kind of movies you need one naughty or let us say crazy character to avoid boringness. But here, I guess, author is trying to give real look to his movie. But, than look at “Oye Lucky Lucky Oye”. In that movie also actually there was no funny characters. But still that movie scores, because of the humor and well described and detailed characters and represents the bad aspect of our human mentality in a light manner without raising any questions or stand. Here that thing is completely missing.
Boman Irani's character is the one who deserves applauds. Sanjay Suri's character is not given full credit. When his brother tell him that he loves his fiancé, his reaction should be anger but his response was very Thanda kind. Chitragandha Singh's performance was good, and she looks really very beautiful in this movie. Sharman Joshi is the heart of this movie and his performance was also good. You cannot find any flaw in Shabana's performance also. But the thing is no one is show stealer and this movie lacks one strong character or bond between their characters and how their relationship got changed with respect to time. Chitragandha Singh loved Sanjay suri when they mate but now Sanjay Suri is completely different man loaded by tons of work and not able to give time to her. And then she fall in love with Sharman, but what about her frustration? When Sanjay Suri was not able to spend time with her she should be shown frustrated and like she was looking for change. But in this movie it is not like that and you will not be convinced with the movie initially about her and Sharman's love. This is the major major major drawback of this movie. The story is also about two brother but there are not many scenes or any bond between them apart from their MA KASAM wala funda. Only relationship between Boman Irani and Shabana is fully and very well captured. I also like how things happen between Chitragandha and Shabana. One thing is good that movie shows about how son got changed with time and race for money force him to compromise with every relationship like love, parents and brother.
A guy fall in love with his brother's fiancé is relatively new concept and some people may have some problem with this bold move. The movie is practical and all the character are real. In fact, I am able to connect every character with my relatives. Personally I loved this movie just becoz of real characters. I love this kind of movies where story is simple and characters are real and important. But here their relationship is not given due importance. But none of my friends like this movie. Reason is simple. Movie is boring and very slow. No role of music whatsoever. In short no entertainment.
I hope with this review you will be able to decide that you should watch this movie or not. Becoz not every one will like this movie but some will.
