Sony xperia z1 is good android phone in this price by some trusyed brand. Otherwise within this cost yoy can get a lot of chinese phones with more features. But if you go for trust, I think it os the cheaper one.
Now if we come to its performance, I would like to tell you that it is very heqvy duty phone. I am using it since one year but it never hangs even when the memory is full. Its only drawback is its front camera which is very downgrade and its weight.
Batterybackup is good on 3g also. Otherwise I have seen a lot of phones, on continuous use of 3g get exhausted within an hour. But this phone is very good in battery also.
I think in this price if you compare with htc or samsung, this one is the best choice. So go with it.
