Disclaimer: It has been just 2 days since I bough this smart phone. I am a die hard SONY fan.
Specification can be seen in

What I like:
Sound quality as in any SONY phone.
Easy navigation/usability.
Performance.
What I didn't like:
Touch screen is not consistent. Some times it simply doesn't work.
Smaller screen.
FM Player.
There were three options for me
Samsung Galaxy Y Duos
HTC Explorer
Sony Tipo(Dual Sim)
Price: Galaxy Y is the cheapest mobile(+1). HTC Explorer is of same price but with single sim(+0). Sony Tipo cost 1500 extra but you get extra features(+0.5).
Screen: Galaxy Y - QVGA, 240 x 320 Pixels. HTC Explorer and Sony Tipo - HVGA, 320 x 480 Pixels.(Considering price, this is expected)
Touch screen: I have not seen any problems yet in Galaxy Y(+1) and HTC Explorer(+1). But I have seen issues in Sony Tipo(+0.5). Sometime back button simply doesn't work. Typing a message is tedious. But overall all three are the same.
Music Player: Just experience it in SONY. You get addicted(Like me)(+2).
FM Player: Galaxy Y(+1) and HTC Explorer(+1) has decent FM player. Tipo - It sucks(-1). You can't use if you are inside office/travelling/in outskirts of the city. No noise reduction and a 1000Rs Nokia phone has better noise reduction in FM.
Apps: Andriod, so it the same on all phones.
Speed: Considering the processor speed and Internal RAM/ROM Sony Tipo(+1) have better performance. You can't observe if the usage is normal. But you can make out the differene while playing games.
Mail: I am using Airtel 3G. No issues found yet. Ease of use.(Not tried in other phones)
Recommendation:
Buy it if
You are Sony fan and ready to pay extra for sound quality.
Need dual sim smart phone.
Not bothered about camera.
