We purchased Xperia C3 dual with great hopes. We initially thought we were getting home a quality phone. I got this phone for my wife. As she is loves to click photos, I thought there is no better option than to go with Sony. Camera's quality was on the top of my mind while purchasing it.
However, all my dreams shattered and we ended up in dismay when we got this product.
The rear camera was the pathetic one. Even the VGA cameras of the previous times were better than this.
The pictures were absolutely blurry. We were shocked to see that this was actually pitched by Sony as the camera phone, and the camera itself was horrible.
We thought this to be a issue with only my handset so we went to the customer care of Sony, but they also weren't of any help. They said the camera is like that only and started giving lame reasons.
At the same time, there was another guy with same handset who visited the center with the same problem. He also had the same experience as mine.
I wrote several mails to sony authorities to either claim their piece back, or give me my money, and stop claiming this to be a camera phone. I got their emails through google.
No email bounced back, that meant the email addresses were correct.
I even went to the official page of Sony on Facebook. wrote a complaint there.
they replied back in a day that I will be contacted shortly.and now its about 6 months of time . I am still waiting for them.not that, I didn't pursued them thereafter, but all my efforts went futile.
Sony is such a brand name. and if Samsung can call back galaxy series which is defective and catching fire, then why not Sony call back its C series, which is a fall on their face.
This episode has actually revealed their lack of tackling customer issues and now I am absolutely against Sony.
I have also spread the word amongst by close ones for not falling into trap for this.
