Hi Folks!
I purchased this object of desire 2.5 months back so that I can watch the World Cup on it, but alas it was not to be. Although it has more to do with a superstition of mine than anything else.
When I purchased this TV, India-Newzealand series was going on, and all the matched which I watched on this TV, India lost. The two which I could not see, they manage to win somehow. And again in World Cup, the match against Australia confirmed my superstion. So now I watch the matches on my old 14'' Aiwa, inspite of my 29'' beauty running in the other room.
Now about the TV, the picture quality is just marvellous, and worth the price difference with LGs and Samsungs (Sony Wega 29'' cost 45K, where korean 29'' flats cost anywhere between 25 to 35K).
It has many useful features such as favourite channels, jump between two channels, picture and audio presets etc. But frankly I mostly use the jump feature only (to jump between two channels). Audio output is pretty good too (300 watts, although no woofer).
It has 3 AV inputs, a DVD input, a S input and a customary TV input. And a AV output to plug it into your music system. I had plugged it with my Philips Woox system, and audio quality is wonderful to say the least.
The only drawbacks in this TV are - not blue-back.mute when no signal, and channel surfing is slow (it takes abt 1.5 seconds for a new channel to appear).
On the whole this TV had completely re-defined my TV watching experience. I just love it.
