First, the reason I bought it, and my wife let me buy it, despite having already the smallest Compaq B 1803 TU, was the stunning looks of this Vaio and its power in miniature. without the battery it weighs a mere 800 grams and thin like anything(though still not beating the new Steve Jobs baby, but then that Mac doesnt have an optical drive). carved in deep matty black finish this is one of the best pieces of smart designing that I ever came across.
it has 100 GB of Hard disk space, provided you delete the recovery partition, comes with 1 GB RAM, upgradable to 2 GB and has almost everything packed in. it has a Built in camera, microphone, biometric reader, dual layer super burner and a beautiful 11.1"display with Vista Business to top it up. The speakers are not so good, but then considering the size its passably good. the small size makes it absolutely suitable for use in cramped seats during flights in economy class. perhaps only downside is its OS.
Vista is a memory hog and any moment there are atleast 75 active processes running. sony has also bundled this model with a lot of OEM softwares, some of which may or may not be very usefull. but its pricey like hell at Rs. 1, 14, 490. If you are a freak for style, I guess you can buy it.
