For a while I wanted to purchase this VAIO model laptop as there is a brand value associated with it but the prohibitive cost has kept me away for sometime.
But I managed to buy this product VAIO VPCCB15FG model by paying 60 K in 2011 having all the high-end features like HD screen, graphics card, 4GB ram and so on. To my dismay It started giving a lot of issues.
- The laptop will always get heated up so much that I fear using it for a longtime. The heating up issues will be there even if I am not running high performance applications like Gaming or some Other applications like Photoshop.
I cannot even keep my hand on the resting pad for typing keyboards as it will be too hot and uncomfortable after a while.
- The battery would not give any backup for more than 5 minutes just after a year of use. I am appalled by the battery degradation within such a short period of laptop use.
So I would use the laptop as a desktop only by keeping it hooked up to the power point all the time.
So much of money spent buying this laptop went in vain. and Today 2014 Dec the battery is totally gone. The external batter sold by Sony will cost around 12-15 K.
I should have better bought some other brand laptop at cheaper cost.
- Not at all worth the money you spend.
I should have bought a Macbook rather buy spending 20 K more.
