Replace. Review on Sony TV

Sir/ Madam,

I had given my sony 37" lcd tv for repair for a problem cause of no pictute and the self diagnosis light blinking 6 times.i bought my tv on 21 july 2008 from korde electricals (ponda, Goa). within 3 years the tv has conked off. wat quality are u'll maintaining? 70k I paid for it and not even 3 years? looks like ve bought lemons!

As I ve read the reviews on the net about the service sony is giving im convinced that this irrisponsible and lousy service is given to all over india, now to tell u my story, I had given my lcd tv for repairs to ur service centre in arlem, margao, GOA. (NISHANT SONY SERVICE), on 5/09/11 at 9.30 AM. he opened jobcard and told me somebody will call me by afternoon, nobody called. I called them at 5PM they said sombody will call next day morning, nobody called. I called them at 11 AM on 6/09/11, they said somebody will call by 4PM, mean while I called the toll free no. to find the status they said somebody will call back. if no body is calling than why ve u opened the call centre? secondly I mentioned them about the self diagonis light blinks 6 times and asked wat could be the reason? but to my suprise they were not aware if any such function exists in the tv.

on 7/09/2011 at 12.15pm I got a call from Nishant Service Centre(Sony Service Centre) that they ve diogonised the problem and have to replace a CONTROL MT BOARD( 185710611 PART CODE) Costing around Rs. 8237 all inclusive and told to pay 50% charges in advance, within 1 hrs. time I paid them and they told me the part has to come from Delhi and it will take around 5 days. if part not available in delhi it will come from Singapore. Common man are u one of those cheap chinese company who dont even keep their parts in stock. is this the service u give to your premium customers? tv is an integral part of any house and from 5th sep I dont have it.

I had bought the SONY thinking that no matter even if it is costly compared to other brands it is having a brand value and quality comes first with SONY. now with this  beep experience with you'll my thinking has changed, expecting some help if you can do something in this regards so that other people dont suffer like me.
