I have been traditionally fan of Sony products (read my review of Sony CMD Z7 Mobile Phone).. and this one two lives upto my expectation from Sony World..

Its plastic body though appearing fragile is quite strong.. my 6 yr old daughter has dropped is several times and its still going strong..

I have been using it for more than 18 months now and NO TROUBLES SO FAR...

It signal range is quite low.. so you need to keep it in centre of the house and keep the telescoping antenna on the base always open for a good signal in 2nd / 3rd room away from the base

Its Conference facility and ability to switch from Base to Handset (or Vice-versa), One line to other (both on base and handset) is very handy, esp. if you are a busy user..

Its speaker phone and microphone is quite strong and captures sound from distance too.. I can hear the TV sound in background when I call home..(no the TV volume in not high!!)

Overall a good buy.. and yes...

I compared prices from Sony Auth Dealer and grey market and there was a vast differnce.. and since normally Sony products are robust and donot require much servicing.. I preferred to chose a genuine piece from the grey market..

Another good thing is the different tones for two lines.. this helps me decide without taking a look, which phone is ringing..
