I had a ps2 but I sold it on olx and bought a ps3 . this is very good console. Play most of the games in 1080p.
No lag found.
PROS
Very sleek and stylish
you can surf web and watch videos on youtube
there is a huge base of ps3 owners so you can always exchange games with them
its a japanese product
controller is rechargeble
better than xbox
its memory is upgradable
CONS
If you wanna play motion sensing games go with xbox kinect
ps4 is available now, if you want to spend more then go for ps4 but the games of ps4 cost more
BUT I LOVE MY PS3
