I just bought the new ps3 slim, it is so much lighter and better than the ps3....it is the first playstation to have an inbuilt wi-fi, the console comes with an AC power chord, an AV cable and a USB cable as well as a dualshock 3 wireless controller.The video output is crystal clear.
The ps3 is a lot quiter than the previos playstations and I hav even heard that it consumes less power.It fits really nicely into the living room setting and goes perfectly with the Lcd flat screen TV monitor.A stand is also available which makes the slim sit upright comfortably.However there are certain drawbacks, the ps2 compatibilty that every1 craves is not featured, the slim has only 2 USB ports.The ps3 comes in a matte black finish, different from the playstation 3 console.
The touch sensitive panels for the power and disc eject are very nice.I really like the new look of the playstation3.The increased storage space, easy connectivity to the internet, in-built web browser and free online gaming service gives the ps3 somthing different to stand out in the crowd, and the ability to play blue-ray discs in high def just adds to the console s appeal.Overall it is a very good product.
