Amongst the many systems of the genre that I bought, only Sony sound was the most pleasurable. I made the dealer play the same CD on all the music systems in options. That was when I realised the differences in Sound. Panasonic and Phillips almost shattered my eardrums. And at times, I could hear the sound breaking at certain volumes. Not so with Sony.I have been a proud owner for a year now, and I haven’t had any problems with this system. The specs of this system are as follows. The speakers are 3-way Bass-Reflex type. It also comes with two small surround speaker units. It has a rotating 3 ACD/VCD player, FM/AM Radio. Two Tape decks. There are so many other things to do. We have enjoyed many a Karaoke evenings courtsy this system. The cinema Space effect generally has made watching a movie enjoyable. The best part is that Everything can be done from a distance using the Remote which carries most of the functions. For those of you who own a Sony TV, you can use one remote for all purposes. While viewing a VCD, There is a PBC Off option that enables you to View the film with various options.
I am a perenial music system freak and always in search of new and new music systems till I find the present one.
It is a real music to my ears. The track Digest option splits the film into nine tracks, and u can decide where to start the film from. The other options are the time and disc digests. Various options come with different Systems, and I have noted a few. Oh yeah! This is one good System , which now costs around 25 - 26 K. Worth the price definitely. In all Possibility, this system now would probably be available under a different name, with a different look.
The Speaker is 140 * 2 watts RMS out put. Though it is advertised as 3200 watts PMPO. The bass effect is enhanced at its groove option. Though a combination of its V-Groove effect and Oriental equaliser option does go very well with Indian Songs, be it latest hindi film nos or old classics.
I always thak my wife for gifting me this set out of her savings.
