I purchased this phone wen it was released in the market, I was having Nokia 6020 earlier, I wanted a sony phone for the music quality it offered so I decided to buy this.
It was very handy and had a neat finish, I liked the phone as soon as I saw it, the music quality is grt with a enhanced mega bass effect, the light features of the phone is also grt, it offers some grt colours like blue, green, purple, red and more. You can customize the phone to match your mood with colours, you can customize it so that it would ring with a specific color wen a specific person calls you.
There are some grt screen savers, and you can find some good screen savers from internet as well. the voice clarity is good, battery backup is not that great wen you are listening to music, you can organize your music. The phone comes with a inbuilt 20MB memory, and 1GB memory card(expandable upto 2gb). It has a 2MP camera which is also grt, the photo that it captures are grt, the colous of the background are enhanced and true.
Clarity of the phone and the screen are crystal clear. it offers good screen resolution.Slide feature, MP3 player looks and the colour combination are the major attraction of this phone. I have a dark grey colour phone and it looks grt. Earphones are good which fits inside your ears so that you dont listen to the static sound of the outside world. It has a shake control option with which you can change songs with just a shake holding the walkman key its prety easy and kind of eye catcher wen u are with your frnds.
In sync to the shake control it has a fitness feature which will count the steps that you have taken for the day, you can set your personal details and this fitness option will keep track of the steps taken and the calorioes burnt(good feature for joggers and walkers). The disadvantage of the phone are: the corners of the phone where u slide the phone seems to loose its colour because of continues sliding.
The jack of the phone which connects charging unit as well as earphones are also not convincing, since there is only one jack point you cannot listen to music while it under charging mode. The pin as well will have some kind of loose connection after being used for quire some time, you will need to keep pressing it or hold it in one direction in order to continuosly listen to the music. Phone is not for rough users, it can be wornout easily.
I am not sure if this is the problem with the phone but with my phone the slot for memory card is a bit loose, I mean some times I will need to press the outer slot to access the card, I think its again a loose connection. Over all phone and the features it offers are good, the jack and slot are the only issues with the phone other than that all is fine!!!!
