After 2 months of R&D, decided to go for SE YARI, writing this review after using for 1 month.
Well this a feature packed phone, u won’t regret BUYING. As far as spec. is concerned, bundled with almost all latest features. Display is bright and sharp, looks nice with SE flash lite themes.
2.4 inch screen size is ok, but for a gaming phone must have been at least 2.6 inch.(I have no issue with the screen size).Keypad is flat, but well designed, will take time for new users to adjust.2 special gaming keys both sides of secondary camera(just an added feature, but of no use).
5 mpxl camera is stunning, takes neat picture, has lots of shoot mode (geo tagging enabled), also smile and face detection..What I was surprised is neat videos (@30 fps) captured by camera, Love video recording on my YARI.
Listening music on YARI is a pleasure to ears (that’s why SONY is famous), and with new styles and walkman 4.0 it’s rocking. What I missed really is no manual setting for equalizer (hope will be added in coming software update).Of course 3g enabled, video calling and as usual stuffs YARI supports (not mentioning these features in detail).
Slider is well designed, but needs to handled carefully. New threaded messaging, auto email settings, facebook makes YARI a good choice for heavy messaging users.
As it’s java OS , hell lots of app supported here. Me too installed (

YARI made a mark in MOBILE INDUSTRY for first gesture gaming supported phone. Hamster hustle, loco roco, snow board rush, tennis, pre-installed gesture games. New net front browser IS OK, response time is good, but opera mini stands tall. Some users complained about network issue with YARI in blogs like gsm arena. No issue with my YARI at all.
Overall will rate it 9/10.
