Hey friends, I am using SE X10 Mini Pro and I want to share with you:

The Sony Xperia X10 Mini Pro is a small and very stylish phone. It is also known as E10i - a smartphone by Sony Ericsson in the Xperia series. It is the second Sony Ericsson smartphone to run the Android operating system and also one of the smallest Android handsets to date. I am using it from the past 2 years and am much happy with it. It gives me all the essential features that are required.

The X10 gives you dual advantage as you can have a touch screen feeling but at the same time it is slider on right side and gives you a qwerty keypad. The phone initially had Android 1.6  and was then up-gradable up to 2.3. The sound quality is very good as well as easy to use. It is very user friendly.

I bought it in 2011 at 10, 000 Rs and it is still very good in performance. The only drawback it has that is it's battery life, due to which it couldn't withstand in the market. The phone is very cute, small and very stylish. It has 600 MHz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 chip set with Android OS, v2.3.7 firmware. I will say for using a custom ROM you need good hardware and Xperia series is the best hardware I found in the last few years of mobile usage.

I find it very useful in terms of camera as it gives me 5 mega pixel camera with a flash and a good quality picture resolution but lacks the zoom feature. It provides an inbuilt G MAIL, G TALK, FACEBOOK and TIMES CAPE app. The Google store is all yours. Though a few apps like Instagram aren't yet compatible, a few other apps like the Neo Reader and Office Suite are quite useful.

The phone provides you with the feature that when you save contacts it syncs it with the social media sides and imports all the details of the person. Its phone book size is limited by the available memory. We can save contacts to groups and sync them with various Google services. We can also sync the handset’s calendar to your G mail calendar after we register our Google account. We also can sync contacts and the calendar with the Sony Ericsson Sync service.

The slider mechanism of the phone is neither too sturdy nor too loose. The camera lens and flash also rests in the middle of the back side with the micro SD card slot behind the battery cover. The power or screen lock switch and 3.5 mm headset jack sits on the phone’s top end, the camera shutter and volume rockers are on the right spine and the Micro-USB port for data syncing and charging rests on the left spine.

The phone has a 2.5-inch display and Sony Ericsson’s User Experience interface are unchanged from the other phone. The display is fine for browsing through menus and most basic features but it’s too small for higher-end functions. As in this some people appreciate the compact size, whereas others want something beefier. It’s really up to us. Unfortunately, the X10 Mini Pro remains stuck on Android 1.6 even months after 2.0’s release but then now presently it is stuck to 2.3 where as the technology has moved far ahead.

Below the display we can find the same physical controls for the home screen menu and the main menu, and for moving backward through a menu. You must dial calls using the standard virtual keypad, though we can bang out messages and e-mails much faster using the physical keyboard. As we expect, the keyboard is fairly small but the keys manage to have a relatively comfortable, spacious feel. We could type quickly and we like the stiff feeling of the keys. We won’t find any shortcut controls and numbers share space with letters but basic punctuation is surfaced on the keyboard. For other punctuation and symbols, you must access an onscreen virtual keyboard. The space bar is in a convenient location in the center of the bottom row.

Its is a great experience to use the SE X10 mini pro.
