Sony xperia mini ST15i .was waiting for its launch but was utterly disappointed .

Well spec wise and feature wise this could have been the best android phone in its range but it has a serious design issue .

Consider this as a warning and not just as a review.

Xperia mini is the successor of X 10 mini. was launched in Sept 11 and I bought it in Sept 11 itself.the look and feel of the phone is really amazing but the phone has a serious defect and it was not specific but a common defect all over. The defect is described in detail as below:-

When you charge the phone, or browse the web or make a call of long duration the phone heats up a bit.because of this heat the "back" button of the phone gets automatically activated as a result you just cant do anything with the phone.

Below is the link of sony customers community wherein everyone who has faced this issue has shared their experience.

U can see in the thread that sony admins have replied saying that this problem will be resolved with a software update .but I think this is a hardware problem and software updation may not resolve it

I am also attaching a video which demonstrates this problem

I went back to the shop from where I bought the phone and showed him the problem.i also showed the above link and the video.and convinced him that this problem is a design problem and not because of my mishandling.also I said that since this is a model specific problem replacing the piece with another xperia will not solve it

so I paid the difference and got xperia mini pro(will be writing a review for pro very soon)

I hope sony resolves this issue soon.
