I Along with my Wife had gone shopping for Clothes and Socks at The Market. We had no plans of buying a Cell phone. As I was standing in his shop He should me an Nokia Handset but as the same had no Extra feature then the one I was using I told him better exchange the same next time or show me a better handset. He insisted to go for an Sony Ericssion and should me K750i. I liked it and agreed to buy the same. As he was making the Bill for the same I casually asked him what model has come after this. He told He has just received and the model number is W800i. I saw and it was love at first sight. I told him to change the Bill and give me an good offer of Buyback of my old handset. He agreed to the same. The Packing of the Handset is excellent and so is its Body color White and Orange.

Today after a Seven Days (Woh Sat Din) of using the W800i I am Sure the Cell phone is bound to be a ''HUGE WINNER!!''.

The little phone is a very compact package. The ''Walk Man'' MP3 player software is very intuitive and easy to use. The 2.0 Mega-Pixel digital cameras is good enough to be a dedicated Digital Camera and the W800i's battery life is superior to any other phone I've ever used. The most important observation I have made in regards to the W800i was whoever I showed the phone to, regardless of their age, they wanted to know what it was and where they could buy one!!

The Sony Ericsson W800 is a long-rumored Walkman branded phone that attempts to combine the features of a digital music player, mobile phone and camera into the one device. It's certainly an impressive and snazzy-looking phone, with up to 30 hours playback time, a powerful set of audio playback applications, 2 mega pixel digital camera, FM radio and a 512Mb Sony Memory Stick Duo bundled in, but the W800 is certainly no iPod killer.

One of my favorite applications that I found on the W800i was the ''World Clock'' a 3-D rendition of the Globe which the user can ''Spin'' by using the Joystick to locate and Zoom in on a particular area of the world to find the time. As you move about the world...the time automatically is displayed in the high-lighted area on the W800i's display. Special ring tones can be tagged to each individual contact so you'll know who's calling without looking at the W800i.

Overall I would have to give the W800i very strong recommendation as just a phone for High end user Category.

W800i Hot Points.

''Walkman'' Name Brand is easily recognized by everyone regardless of age as a quality music product.

Super 2.0 Mega Pixel Camera and Multi-Media Features.

Superior Battery Life.

Very Good RF and Phone Performance.

Solid Construction and Quality Materials.

Fantastic Ear Buds with 3.5 mm Adapter for your own favorite ear phones or buds.

W800i Disappoints.

Didn't really care for the styling and color combinations.

Bluetooth Headset performance could have been better.

Lack of HTML browser support and more sophisticated email client.

Use of a lower quality LCD compared to the K750i.
