The fact that u r checking this review means that u r in the market for a new mobile. I just conducted a tiring market survey before finally settling on this beauty. And trust me the choice wasnt easy.
I started off by choosing my budget which was around 12000. Given the budget I narrowed my search down to 3 cells. The MOTORAZR (the epitomy of class), the Nokia and the Sony. Erriccson
Like the title says, for this price there is no other manufacturer who provides so many features. SE has always been know for its advanced technology. For 11600 I was being offered a 2megapix camera, awesum speakers and all the other standard features a cell must have nowadays.
In the end it all comes down to choosing between features and looks. SE I admit is not too great on looks but it more than makes up in features. The camera is aamazing and there are few words which can express the music quality.
I was bowled over after buying this cell. The reception is good, the robustness is also good.
In short
PROS: Great camera, greater music player, 256mb card
CONS: auto focus not present in the camera, and the video recording is limited to 10 secs.
I also got hold of a SE W810i and compared these two feature by feature. The 810 wins hands down but then again it comes for 14800.
810 comes in black (for all u black lovers) and it comes with more memory 512mb. It also comes with external speakers which when connected to ur cell really blast. and the 810 has a much better camera even though it too is 2megapix. I think its because of the auto focus.
To conclude.... if ur budget is around 12K, there is no other cell to beat the W700i and u can rest assured of its performance... if u can go a lil over thn seriously consider the W810i
