Phonetastic cell. Review on Sony Ericsson T610

The features which a person looks for while purchasing a new mobile handset nowadays are camera, multimedia messaging, WAP, GPRS, Music composer, large capacity for phone numbers and pictures. The most crucial aspect is the looks. This set iof Sony takes the cake as far as looks are concerned. It has been designed with killer looks and compactness which may even lead someone to believe that it cannot contain the many features that this phone does contain. In short, it is amazing. I have had siemens, nokia and ericsson handsets before but this phone captured my heart from the moment I saw it.

Let us go to the features. This phone contains all the latest technology available. Combined with ease of use and a very short getting used to period it makes an almost irressistible package. It has a lvery large phone memory, so you can keep storing all the contacts you want. The message length allowed is quite long. Also many important buttons wanted are placed in a convenient position. You have the standard features that almost any self respecting phone carries with it. The stand out thing here are the games.

First of all there are a lot of games and all of them are very good. What is really distinguishable from Nokia phones is that these games have artificial players and theycan be quite tough to beat. So, keeping you busy. Also, you can download the games if your service provider supports it. However, I dont think many people can afford me and I am with them. With ggolf and checkers type things pre loaded I dont think that many people will require to anyway. It also has facility to change font sizes. It has a very good music composer that drives my best friend mad as I try to compose tunes which sound good only to me, apparently.

The phone can interact with other phones using Infrared and Blue tooth. The thing to be noted is that the infrred does not work with Nokia phones and works with another sony ericsson set. This can be a big problem. This has a picture editor which is quite enjoyable if you dont use it too much. It can even record sounds for short intervals. Now to go to the real jewel, the camera. The camera is quite good and though there is no zoom facility and no flash feature it takes very good picture for a non VGA camera. For the price it is a good camera which would have been better were it a VGa camera. But, one cannot hacve everything.

The camera is easy to use and has a couple of sizes of pictures. The pictures can be displayed while the call is coming in. The battery of the phone is good and can hremain charaged for a long time even with lot of use. Be sure to get insurance of this cell done however as this can be usefull later. The voice control system is very good compared to other cells. In addition to all these features, the cell is very hardy and has taken many a fall from my hands without any injury.

However, the main problem is that with the advent of comparable priced camera phones with VGA cameras and video recording devices this mobile could well lose some of its earlier glamour. Also, the joystick can be irritating at times though works well in whole. Overall, definitely go for this mobile if you can get it at a cheap rate or you want a really feature and aesthetic packed mobile taht delivers. Hope you will give the phone a thought it does deserve.
