Another review on SE T610. Review on Sony Ericsson T610

I got my SE T610 last month and one should get this phone for the following:-

1) Looks

I got the red T610 but not from India. I checked out from the SE distributors and they told me that only silver is available as there is no demand for the blue and red ones. I somewhat don't like the silver. It's looks pretty dull to me. Surprisingly, most people prefer the silver one.

Anyway, it's one phone where all good things come in one small size. Very comfy in the hands and very sturdy. It looks really attractive and suits anyone of all ages, be it 16 or 60, causal or formal.

# Connectivity (Bluetooth, infrared)

# Wallet function (where you can store secret information and is only accessible by means of a password)

Now, one would not want to get this phone for the following:-

1) Phone book

Unlike Nokia phones, the entry into the phone book in T610 is like a maze. You can store phone numbers, e-mail ids but not your postal address, which is one thing that I miss compared to my earlier N6100. You have to go on and on until you can save/edit a number/detail. A bit too long winding.

2) Camera

Don't by this phone just for the camera, as it's an average camera for a phone. You need plenty of light if you wanna get a good image. If not, then the pictures turn out a bit grainy.

3) A bit slow

Getting into a function or typing an sms can be a bit slow compared to other phones in the market. It takes a while before you can go to the next menu or go back. So if you are the kinda person who lacks patience or want things to happen 'like that', then you consider this point.

4) Games

If you are not interested in the games in handphones, then proceed to the next point. Games are not that wonderful. Moreover, if you wanna download games, the games are very limited for SE phones. You can check our Yahoo! or SE website for games downloading.

5) Calender

I somewhat prefer the calender in N6100. This calender is kinda non-user-friendly.

6) Memory

The memory is a pathetic 2MB. It's so sad. You can't store much even if you have no heart to remove it. It makes the handphone freeze at times when too much is stored.

7) Dressing up the phone

Unlike Nokia phones, you can't change the casing for T610. If you have a silver, then you live with silver for good, until you get a new phone. If you are the one who likes to dress up your handphones (I am), forget about doing so in T610.

Despite mentioning the above, T610 is one phone which is packed with goodies. I love mine!
