2010 May update..
I have people complaining abt this phone. Though Sony has stopped this model I would like to shre a few experience in this mobile with 3G from BSNL. I was lucky to get a BSNL 3G connection after buying the 3G Phone for almost two and half years.
Bought May 2008
My experience:-
My phone fell down and I broke the front aluminum cover. Replaced at 1500 Inr at original Sony service. Replacement time 15 Minutes.
Loaded software twice due to slow response in between.. Still this phone rocks.
3.Same original Battery .. still gives abt 10 hrs music continues running
4.Using 3g makes ur battery drain little early
will add up later today

This Phone was brought around May end... I opted for this phone after searching for about a month or more. reading a lot of review on this product. First I thought for going for a Moto rkr E6 but later found that it was low in cpu power and was not that good compared to SE. I saw HTC , Moto, Samsung Windows mobiles ETC... But at last settled to this mobile for the memory , design, Touch and other specification it had .
i had used mobile from nokia and samsung. Has my first mobile was Nokia then shifted to samsung.. I knew I will face problem to get used to keyboard, Menu and touch option. Its a common . The learning process took me 1 Month. Even once I got the Os Loaded becoz it crashed completly and denied to reboot. I was not aware( Lack of Knowledge) how to load a new advance OS my self .
It took 3 days to get the mobile serviced. It came with new version of software . However the I was still doing trial and error on the mobile . Around june end I took a complete bk up of the mobile .then contnuied every week tell september. I have loaded alot of games, themes and softwares. I even upgraded to 2 Gb Memory and found my mobile working fine.
Once I thought of Loading the OS myself and suceeded with restoring the old bkup. since my have alot of contacts . It usualy gets updated to my Outlook through Bluetooth with the support of SE PC suite.
recently I updated the software to walkman and found working fine. Even I have 3 types of headsets . i.e HPM 82 and HPM 85 . HPM 85 is doing superb. in which I forget the work.
This mobile is a perfect office and off office entertainer.
The speaker is good .
Radio and audioplayer works fine .... Trackid helps me.
Navigator is ok ...u can change the icons. Do voice dialing, Voice answer,
The battery :- once fully charged It works for two days with not much music and games - Low usage
With music it works for 12 hrs continously with calls internet and music Heavy Usage and
one day plus with normal usage .
GPS . Its a external one and needs bluetooth pairing
Internet is ok and better . This phone lags edge . u may have multiple login accounts. Gmail worked fine.
As on date I find the phone a goodone.
