So why is the Sony Ericsson K750i is a marvel of mobile technology?
A. It serves amazingly well as a phone!
B. It's got an amazing camera and usability!
C. It's got the audio quality of an Apple iPod...no kidding!
Now before any of you iPod fans feel hurt and begin to discriminate...''I mean almost as good as the iPod'' - 44khz (very important aspect to confirm before buying any audio device, especially if ur buying it off bazzee (now eBay India)!), easy of operation and clarity and crispness of sound, etc.
The K750i primarily is for those who like to carry their music around, love to build their personal diary with pic more than notes (only), and of course like to be connected (teleconnected and web connected)!
Just so that you know I have used these phones and finally settled for the k750i - Nokia 6100, Nokia 6600, Sony Ericsson P900, Sony Ericsson K700i, etc.
It has all the features even an advanced PDA user would like...lets do a quick check -calendar, tasks, contacts (with multi-detail storage per contact like MS outlook), voice recorder, notes, etc.
More useful features -
HTML support,
.txt files can be opened to read on the K750i
the customisable shortcut menu has no comparison
a 250k+ colour screen gives amazing clarity
the camera mode is like a sony digital camera and can be used without accessing the phone menu!
the mp3 player too can be accessed without accessing the phone menu!
superb response time
UBS connectivity with any computer is simple and files transfer fast
Build quality - my K750i has taken some hard falls and not a problem! very strong and sturdy, I have used it in extremely humid weather and no problem!
The screen is amazingly scratch resistent!!!
The hanging problem is true, the phone does hang sometimes, but look at it this way...don't computers hang too when they are over loaded with processes!
The K750i is no different, it's a complex little piece of gadgetry working on a OS and though it has a good amount of RAM and processing power it hangs when it runs low on resources. What do you do to avoid that - like a computer you restart it once or twice a week...ENJOY!
