Before starting the review, let me tell u a few positives of buying a Sony Ericsson over NOKIA:
SE phones are very feature rich in similar price band.
Sound quality even in the lower end phones is always good.
Unlike general perception, their battery backup is in no way less than NOKIA, and they are as rugged as NOKIA. I’ve used two Sony Eric phones( T630 and now K750), therefore I can say this.
Sony’s after sales service is better. They replaced my joystick in last month of warranty, on my complaint, that it is sometimes giving problem. It was working fine before them. In a similar incident they replaced my friends battery, just on his request that standby time has reduced.
Last but not least, Nokia phones become so common, that even ur plumber will buy ur model after six months from second hand market(something that happened to 6600, and 6300)
After using K750i for 1 year, I think now I am eligible to write a review for this great phone, one of the very successful and appreciated camera phones, all over the world.
Apart from being a phone, it will give u so many add-ons, that u will feel very equipped with this being in ur pocket.

CAMERA
Mobile phone cameras do not carry the sophisticated optics of a digicam, so they are not able to shoot very crisp and detailed images, but they are very well able to capture the moments, just as they appear. Once you go through the pictures that u have shot from your mobile, you really feel that it was worth investing in a camera phone. It is an auto focus camera, with macro mode.
If u know little about digital photography, then, let me tell u, that using macro mode u can shoot the close-up of objects with clarity. It’s macro mode is so powerful, that if u take 2 megapixel shot of half front page of a news paper, with macro ON, and flash On, U will be able to read it on ur computer.
So, if there is no photocopy machine around, just click the document with ur phone.
It can also be used to capture any ad in the newspaper, or a notice on the notice board. You can later zoom them to read. Isn’t it great.

In the camera mode:
Press 4 to toggle Macro mode ON/Off
Press 7 to toggle Night mode ON/Off
Press 0 to toggle flash light ON/Off
You can configure its joystick to create shortcuts for four most used features by u. I’ve configured it for calculator, phone book, calendar and lights.
MP3 / FM quality
Is superb. Earphones provided by it are very capable and play all frequencies with perfection. Bass(dhoom. dhoom) is superb. It has five graphic equalizers, with 4 presets. It’s not just another mobile phone with music/FM. It sounds class apart. You need to listen it to believe it. You surely dont need IPOD if u have this phone.
LIGHT
Unlike most other camera phones(Nokia N series etc.), the flash light provided by Sony Ericssson is unique.
It is a double LED light, So, is far brighter than competition. Unlike other phones, it remains continuously ON, to record videos at night.
Otherwise also, It will serve u in sooo. many situations. This is one of the most used features by me. Do not think its like the light provided on some entry level Nokias(1100 etc.). It’s like always carrying an emergency light with you. I MEAN IT. I’ve kept it ON for half an hour at a stretch during a power cut, it illuminated the whole room, even the battery didn’t cry. This is something, not available in any of competitors.
It is so good that it is hard to decide what to buy, if u want to sell it. None other company in the market offers all mentioned above in one box.
Well W700i, W810i, W610i are other few SE phones with all above and some more.
So don’t think twice before going for one.
