SE K750i…Definite all rounder. Review on Sony Ericsson K750I

Hi all,

I have been using this model for 2 weeks so I think it’s the correct time to pen down a review. Before testing this model I have also used other Sony Ericsson models like S700i, W810i.So I’m not new to Sony Ericsson.

Here are some of its features,

1)      Excellent Camera: Sony Ericsson were always known for it’s great camera phones; K750i is no exception to that rule. SE K750i boosts of having a 2.0-mega pixels AUTOFOCUS camera with maximum Effective resolution of 1632x1224.Camera in SE K750i works like a dig cam. Macro mode is supported which takes excellent macro pictures. I have attached a photo of a flower taken in macro mode with this review. One can also manually adjust exposure compensation, white balance(such as daylight, cloudy, flourecent and more.)  And data compression.(Normal and fine). In case you want to take pictures at night, K750i has a LED flash with night mode. There is also a slide cover present to avoid scratches to camera.

2)      Mp3 player and Fm radio: It’s a real pleasure to listen to songs with SE K750i speakers although they are not as loud as Walkman series. Music through stereo headphones is simply amazing. Various sound effects such as voice, bass, treble and MEGABASS are provide.mp3 player can be minimized . In case one gets bored with music player then switch on to Fm radio with RDS.Signal reception is much much better than Samsung and nokia models and the sounf quality is impressive too.

3)     Display and Expandable memory:It displays 262 K colors on surface of 1.8-inch LCD screen with maximum resolution of 176x220.Display is better than nokia but looses to Samsung models by a good margin. Internal memory is about 36 MB, in case one runs out of memory then there's option of expanding it with memory stick. Maximum memory support is 2Gb.A 64Mb memory card is bundled with the phone.

4)      3D Games and online services:SE K750i supports 3D games. One thing I like very much about Sony Ericsson is their online support; one can find each and everything related with Ur phone like wallpapers, themes, ringtones games and many other things for free of cost and most importantly phones software can be updated online to avoid hassle of visiting service centers.

5)      Connectivity and Data: Data transfer can be done through bluetooth, infrared, USB.Phone supports GPRS class 10 for browsing.

6)  BATTERY: Battery life is good too.For normal use at lasts for more than 3 days.If u r a great fan of music or gaming then battery life drops to 2 days.

Now let’s go through some of the drawbacks:

1) somewhat unhandy Keypad

2)No EDGE support( EDGE is faster version of GPRS)

3)OS of this phone is slow compared to samsung and non symbian nokea phones.

SO, overall for a price of 9500RS SE K750i is a safe bet.64 MB memory stick, data link cable, software, stereo headset is bundeled with the phone.
