Hi All,

I got my Sony Ericsson K700i on 15.01.2005. After doing lots of testing on this product finally I decided to write this review. I think this may helpful for you. I don't want to get in to the technical details of this phone as others did.

Earlier I was a fan of Nokia. The last phone I used from Nokia family was 6610. After using this I came to know that there is nothing in Nokia which is worth for the huge money we are paying. Other manufactures are offering more features in a lesser cost. If you ask me Why did you purchase this products don't have much answer to give you. But some how I found that K700i is reasonably priced one compared to Nokia phones which supports all these features. Another plus point I have seen is the Image quality. I will tell you that Nokia is living only because of its brand name.

K700i gives you a superior imaging quality with 40 Min of Video Rec. (As promised by the shop keeper). Also it has MP3/MP4/WAV play back.

But I found that it takes lot of time to down/up load a file to / from a PC using USB cable. I didn't try infra-red stuff. but the transmission using blue tooth between phones is faster.

The phone is very delicate and needs a very delicate care. where as in Nokia it is ready for rough use. I think it will be a hit if Sony introduces the easy change covers concept as of Nokia.

One more main aspect of this model is the high quality camera. You can capture high quality photographs in the day light. But I found that camera looses its performance at night and also the built-in light is not so effective at night. But the overall quality of pictures compared to other mobile models is good.

I didn't find any problems with the phone other than slow data transfer to a PC. It is worth for the money. But remember that it requires a delicate care. I will be updating this if I found ny thing interesting ...
