Before beginning the review, I have to thank my friend who let me use his K 700i, for evaluation. He has both the K700i and the K508i, so the next week, I am hoping to get my hands on the K508i.
The K700i is a wonderful phone, and is designed with an eye into the future. This phone combines easiness of using and all the technical expertise of Sony, not to mention the latest gadgets available in the mobile industry.
The first impression that the phone gave me was its beautiful screen with the 65536 colour display, with 176*220 pixels and a 1.8? inch TFT screen. Trust me guys; the phone has an excellent display, and is bound to impress all with the first look.
The phone is equipped with a good VGA camera. The camera has a very good resolution and supports 4x digital zoom. Guys, this camera is actually very good and is comparable to any digital camera available in the market. Also you can have the additional perk of recording videos.
The battery life of the mobile is an impressive 300 hours stand by, and what is even more impressive is the 7 hours of maximum talk time that it provides. This device is also very lightweight with only 93g to carry around. It wont cause your shirt pocket to be hanging around like you have your entire world in it.
The audio quality is also very good, and of course, it comes with the speaker phone facility. This is a Sony ericsson. The phone also supports FM radio.
Now, connectivity, the phone supports bluetooth, infrared, and USB connectivity.
The bluetooth option is very useful in the use of very sleek headsets that are available with the phone. But one major let down is that at this price, you also expect 3G technology, not that any service providers have 3G, but it is going to be the technology of the future. 3G can support internet speeds of upto several Mbps.
There is also Java support, and a very good 41 MB internal memory. So you can download all the latest Java games. The screen is very good as I mentioned earlier which makes gaming a pleasure.

Hope the review would be useful to any potential buyer. I will have to give the phone back next week. But the good thing is I will be getting the K508i.
But saying my personal opinion, I would only go for a phone that supports 3G technology. As Nokia says the technology is future proof. So, you wont be thinking of buying another one for a couple of years.
This is a very good phone. So if you are thinking of buying, go through the technical specifications of the phone, before taking a decision.
