The J210i is one of sony Ericsson's latest offering.It is a variant of the previous J series phone J210, the only major difference is the 65k colour display compared to the 4k display of the J210.
The phone has a very Sleek look to it, it like all other sony ericsson phones is got a joystick for navigation which requires some getting used to.
The phone is price presently at Rs.4250 , which is quite cheap considering that at that price a Nokia phone you will get is black and white (there is the Nokia 1600 and 3120 at this price band, comparitively thehardly offer any feautres).
The phone has GPRS as well Infra red connectivity.At Sony Ericsson They claim the phone has a memory of 600kb (but when I bought the phone and checked out the memory it had about 645kb of free space).
It can store pictures in JPEG, GIF and BMP formats (generally the BMp files are too big transfer)
It can also store music files but only in the MIDI format which can also be used as ringtones.
There is themed display, but only 4 that comes with the phone new ones cant be added.
The hearing quality is good but reseption and transmission are not of top quality.
Over all the phone is a very good phone for someone who wants some style and doesn't want to use the average B/W phone but at the same time doesn't wan't to shell out too much.
For someone who want the just the basic features of a phone and expects top quality, durable & good reception look elsewhere
