Wanted to share my experience with the new sony ericsson G502. I thought of buying a good mobile phone which has features like music player, bluetooth, a good camera etc etc...
So I started a little research about good cellphones... The two names that mind when you are going to buy a new cell is NOKIA, Sony Ericsson.
NOKIA always maintains the reliability as every one knows...but the features which you get for a NOKIA cellphone are always lesser than other phones at a particular cost...
Since I thought of taking a cellphone at a range of 7K-8K I found Sony Ericsson G502 which has features more than a nokia phone at the same cost...and also the sound quality of sony ericsson phones is the best of all the other phones in my view...
so I decided to take this phone.. First of all the G indicates that it is the next generation phone.. :)The following are the features of this phone....
EMAIL:
It has a facility of Push Email which other phones in this range do not have...sms, mms are common..
CAMERA:
Has a camera 2.0 MP 1600x1200 pixels ...has zoom possible in video mode only...zoom is not available in photo mode.
Has features like Photo DJ, Video DJ.
CONNECTIVITY:
It has v2.0 port through which we can connect a data cable.
Bluetooth connectivity is also there with A2DP.
This phone supports 3G.(HSDPA 3.6Mbps)
MUSIC:
It has a MP3/MPEG4 player.
Excellent sound quality.
FM radio with Radio Data System(RDS) is available.
Music DJ is not there in this phone.
It has the support of Google Maps.
The only problem is that We get only earphones with this set.
We need to buy data cable extra.
The inbuilt memory is 32Mb and it supports only M2 memory cards which are costly than normal cards.
Apart from all these a few problems which I faced after buying are that there are no drivers available...so I had
downloaded it from the sonyericsson website.
THE SOUND OUTPUT IS LOW COMPARED TO OTHER MODELS.
Overall its a very good phone..with a lot of latest features...it gives a good value for money.. :)
