If you are thinking of buying televisions going into the new year, go for my all time fav SONY. This is the best television across categories.
Anyone looking for a long-lasting durable product one needs to opt for SONY. A totally trouble free performer it is.
As for the price, I think there isn't much of a difference in the pricing of the leading brands but even if you have to pay a bit more for SONY of your choice, it is worth it in the long run.
