Sony DSCW55 camera.

This is an awesome camera.

I have been using this camera for 6 months now. I bought it for 12k

INR. Ever since I bought it, I take it out always, this is sleek, to

put in your pockets, light and less complicated.

The screen size is bigger than the w35 version which offers almost the

same specifications. The battery back up is too good, and I got 1 GB

card with it for free.

The image quality is superb to take normal prints. I would suggest this

because of two reasons, one it’s a sony, secondly it have Carl Zeiss

lens.

Test I

I accidentally dropped my camera on concrete floor of our basement,

although the body have a few scratches now, it amazing that the screen

and the camera hardware is intact.

Test II

The battery backup is amazing, I went for trip and I used the camera to

click picture for more than 2 days without recharging.(the camera was

used to take snaps, videos and I reviewed them in b.w)

Test II

Connecting to a computer/laptop can never be so easy, you don’t need

any software as it will be treated as a USB device. Just drag and drop

and view your pictures with your favorite image viewer.

You could also connect it to your TV to review your pictures.

This

facility is too good as you can review pictures with your family if no

computer is available.

Cons… There aren’t many I can talk about but still every good thing

comes with some faults right?

  1. The camera is too sleek that its difficult to hold(?) and you

could drop it.

  1. Sony doesn’t give a case with it and you have to pay extra for it.

So those of you guys who aint know much about cameras and would really

want to buy one for personal use, I would suggest this!
