Unfortunately, I purchased this camera in September, 2009 under the impression that Sony can never compromise with the quality of the snaps. When I used this camera(auto mode) in sunlight I was shocked to see its poor performance. The face captured in the snap was completely yellow. After using it 2-3 days I was able to understand that this camera has a very poor performance in sunlight. When sun rises, it captures the face completely yellow.

This effect remains till around 11.00 AM. As the time lapses and sunlight becomes sharp the effect of yellow colour reduces. During the afternoon around 12.00 to 3.00 PM it captures snaps near to normal in sunlight. But after 3.00 PM the effect of yellow colour starts and during sunset it again captures the face completely yellow in sunlight. When I realized that all the W180 cameras have the same problem I requested the Sony company to replace my camera with Sony Cybershot W210 taking the difference of MRP from me since I am completely disappointed with its performance.

The company replied that there is no defect in the camera, therefore, we cannot replace it with other model. I ask to all of you, if this camera is not able to capture normal snaps in normal sunlight and gives extra rich colour(yellow), which cannot be reduced, is it not a malfunction? I will never recommend anyone to buy this camera if one wants to capture quality snaps.
