I am a real big fan of the Palm software and its products. The Palm top is truly an amazing invention that can substitute for a PC on the palm of your hand. I wanted to get my life organized and carry pics of my family where ever I go. Thats when I bought the Palm M100 3 years ago.

The M100 was the latest in the Palm series that had a 2MB RAM which was quiet enuf if you did not want to store any pics (Grayscale only) or big documents. It was a good notes and schedule keeper. Time passed by. I wanted to get high tech, bring some color in life and some music with it too. Thats when I looked at different Palm models.

The brand that really intrigued me was the Sony Clie series. At first I bought the Sony Clie SJ-22 for I think about $220.00 . The SJ-22 had a 22MHz processor with 16Megs of RAM bult in with a slot for a memory stick which can expand the memory size to as big as 1GB!!! The clie had 65K colors and had a movie player with it too. You had to convert movies on the pc before viewing it on the PDA (Kinoma Player). It was awesome looking at things in colors now. The 22MHz was a little slow in opening photos and movies.

So, I went ahead and wanted a faster processor Clie. Thats when my eyes fell on the Clie SJ-33 (for just 30 dollars extra). This little piece of plastic and chips contained a sweet 66MHz processor with an MP3 player, a memory stick slot, 16Megs of RAM and all the basic software that the Clie comes with. I held it in my hands and it felt good. The curves and the semi transparent cover. It all looked good. I decided that this would be the one for me.

To be honest, I wanted a color PDA so I can carry pics of my just born Daughter, she's just an angel and apart from thanking sony for a Digital Camera, I thank them for the PDA too now. I take pics from my Digital camera (P72) and use the same memory stick to view and carry pics on the Clie. Technology at its best...yet. The 66MHz processor was really fast in opening up photos and applications.

Now I even carry power point documentation, Excel sheets and Word files on the Clie. I can also listen to MP3s on this device. I use ZLauncher on my Clie and it feels just like using windows. I don't regret the investment I made for this Clie.
