Think twice before you buy SONY CD RW CRX 230E. The points, which stress my opinion, are as follows.
1) Worst support available for this drive. Sony?s own website shy while talking about this model. NO DRIVER AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD.
2) Sony CDExtremeUpdate doesn?t know about this model . Only you and me know about it who paid for this drive.
3) Challenge for anyone who recommends this drive... Use Windows XP inbuilt CD writing features and see whether you can write a CD!!!. This CD writer doesn?t work with WindowsXP inbuilt CD writing features. It is very easy to write 500 or even 5000 Cd?s using NERO but it is impossible to write a single CD using Windows XP with SP1a.
4) Online support is available for USA customer only. If you are Indian Customer forget about it.
5) You get No reply from Sony when you escalate the support issue to them.
Even after you think that it is best bargain in this part of the world?. I have nothing to say.
