Hi,
I bought this model EX 520 in the month of October 2011 at a cost of Rs. 60, 000 plus extra warranty of Rs.3000/- Total I invested on the TV is around 63, 000.
From the past 2 weeks I am facing the problem with the screen where I see the green color thick lines in the borders and the middle section along with blur and overlapping of the images.
After googling it, I came to know that its a panel issue and is a defective model and thought that I am not only the person who has faced the issue. And also seen that EX series are failures.
On 02-03-2016:
Today I raised a complaint to Sony India regarding the problem which I am facing.
On 05-03-2016
Technician from Sree Balaji Electronics, Hyderabad came and inspected my TV and confirmed that there is an issue with the mother board and the software and took the part to service station to repair it.
Told that the Estimated cost is around: Rs. 1200/-
I will let the customers/poor guys of EX 520(like me) to know the updates.
