Hi Friends,
I am using Sony Bravia from the past 6 months and I found this product as one of the best in its class & range. As we all know that Sony has a good reputation in electronics market and buying this product once again proved it right, just like the quality of lenses from Sony the quality of LEDs are also very classy. I looked at Sony and Videocon on the same wall at the store and I saw and also felt the difference.
Here is my review what I like about this product:
1) The video quality is super awesome, the quality of LED Sony used is the superior one, it gives you a great brightness and contrast in the running images or videos. It comes with the aspect ratio of 16:9 which means it has a wider frame to show the video, even with this frame the video seems very comfortably fit and do not look stretched. Now, let me talk about the viewing angle, before buying this product I was not sure what viewing angle is, but at the shop the Sony representative showed me the example. You can try it out. Stand in front of your TV and see the color, now go to the left and stand by the wall and then see the color, you can try the same from other side and also from top and bottom. In low quality LED simple(non HD) TV, you will find a change in color from side angle but in this LED, the color remains same. This is just a super test to try the quality of LED you are going to buy.
2) Now talking about sound, the TV comes with Dolby Digital Plus Technology with in built woofer for the surround and bass. The speakers are mounted very cleverly that even its not in front you will get the correct sound not only in front of the TV but also sideways, in other words, it gives you a surround sound. Although it comes with 2.1 channel speakers not with 5.1 channel.
3) I would say a big Yes for value of money. Since it HD with Dolby surround sound and also a Smart TV, by Smart TV I mean that you can connect Wi-Fi and can directly play videos on YouTube, can browse internet using the Opera Browser and can even see your own albums from you cloud drives. It has 2 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, FM Radio and also a built in stabilizer for fluctuations. What else you can ask for. In this price range, getting a HD Smart LED from Sony is just awesome.
4) The service of the product is good, though I did not have to call them once I just had the experience at the time of installation. Since it is my first Smart TV I was also not very sure of the features, I scheduled a demo from company and their engineer came and gave me a complete demo on how to use the TV and all its features. The guy also gave his number and asked to contact if required.
My experience till now is just superb. If you are looking to buy a new LED, this option you can definitely check.
