Its an awesome place guys. I went in january end and I found snowfall in solang valley. The roads were blocked due to heavy snowfall but still we managed somehow to visit that place. And I am telling you that going to manali and moving solang valley is a paisa vasool and purest adventure you will ever find. Snow skiing is available in solang valley. It is about 20 km from manali you will get a taxi of about 1000-1500 for solang valley trip. Bargaining may help you out for cheaper rates. Also guys if you are going for skiing then do buy rental clothes for snow because they definitely helps to protect you from getting wet through snow.
Overall it was a beautiful place I found it was india's best hill ever to visit. You also should go once and you will fall in love with that place.
